Software Engineer & IT Consultant

Samuel Kahara

I help NGOs and mission-driven organisations get the technology basics right, so their teams spend less time fighting tools and more time on the work that matters.

About me

Technology that works for your mission

I am a software engineer and IT consultant based in Nairobi, with more than 13 years of experience across nonprofit, eCommerce and SaaS projects, and the founder of Jijifest. Since 2023 I have been the technology partner behind African Women in Media (AWiM), building and running the platforms they use to reach members, sell conference tickets and connect newsrooms with women experts.

Working closely with AWiM, I have met many organisations doing important work with tools that hold them back: an outdated website, donations tracked in spreadsheets, shared passwords and email on personal accounts. I offer practical, affordable fixes for exactly these problems, and I stay on hand after launch.

How I help NGOs

  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

Professional email on your own domain, shared drives and calendars, set up properly and moved over from personal accounts.
